The Manoir des Érables had the great privilege , on last April 21st to greet M. Ben Miller, a prominent personality in the hunting field in United States.
Accompanied by his shooting crew, M. Miller came to Montmagny, the capital of the great white geese, in regards for the North American Hunting show presented by versus TV in the United States abd Wild TV in Canada.
Ben Miller is a reference in the hunting domain, owner of the ‘'North American Hunting'' magazine since over 30 years, he also directs the TV show of the same name since 23 years.
The subjects tackled are always in order to give out the complete experience, the preparations, the accomadations and restaurants of the visited regions, the material, the hunting hide outs etc......
M. Miller has traveled everywhere in North America in order to visit the best hunting territories available, from the Antocosti Island to Alaska and New Mexico. This was his first trip to Québec this year, and Tourism Québec, whom are part of the sponsors for his magasine, 3 to 4 trips are planned yearly to produce different coverages.
Following the suggestions of Tourisme Québec, the Manoir des Érables had the pleasure to accomadate M. Miller and his crew for a second evening. Although their stay at the Manoir was planned for one day, the crew decided to prolong their stay for two extra days in reason of the warm contact with the staff and also that they where conquered by the many charmes of the establishement. While a conversation with M. Miller, he didn't miss to emphasize about the meal our executive chef ‘Fréderic Cyr' had prepared was THE FANCIEST MEAL HE EVER HAD.
Images of the Manoir have been taken as well as videos of our Chef in action in the Kitchen. It was a very pleasant and rewarding encounter. The shooting will be on air in Spring 2011.
